Salary: £100,000 – £120,000

Reporting to: Dr Murray Ellender, CEO


Head of Product – The Role:

We are looking for a Head of Product to join the Executive Team and support our next stage of growth. This is a key role, based in our London office, that will help to shape the direction of our product offering. The Head of Product will work as part of the Executive Team to execute the product strategy, in line with the overall Company strategy and goals. 

The ideal candidate will assume ownership of end-to-end product management. They will lead the Product Team with a focus on mentoring and developing a growing team. The Head of Product is a key driver of the company’s vision; leading the development and management of the product roadmap.

This position requires close collaboration with the technology, strategy, marketing, sales, operations and other teams.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and owning the Product Strategy in line with, and complementary to, the overall Company strategy and vision
  • Leading the development of the roadmap, facilitating the creation of products that deliver value to our customers and the business
  • Providing product-led challenges to the Executive Team and business as a whole that push the business to grow
  • Lead a Product Team that deeply understands the problems, needs and desires of our customers and patients
  • Measuring the performance of our products and features and reporting back on these
  • Define and own ambitious OKRs related to the product team that align with our mission and vision
  • Working with leaders from across the business to ensure alignment with Company and departmental strategic goals
  • Managing and hiring a growing Product Team, including design roles, and working to ensure that we have the best people in place in the product team to achieve our ambitious goals

Your Skills and experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have: 

  • Extensive product management experience (experience within a regulated industry is desirable)
  • Leadership and decision-making experience in a fast-growth environment with a proven track record in attracting, recruiting, managing and developing exceptional talent within the product team
  • Demonstrated success in creating and facilitating the delivery of innovative products across multiple platforms and leading successful product strategy and transformation
  • Customer-focus and data-driven approach to all aspects of your work
  • Deep expertise of product development experience and an ability to achieve results at pace in a regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of, and demonstrated experience implementing, effective agile product management
  • Demonstrated experience of being able to balance short- and medium-term needs with long-term objectives
  • A hands-on leadership approach to the management of the Product Team
  • An ability to say “no” whilst being able to explain the “why” to stakeholders across the business
  • An understanding of the value of data and how it can be harnessed to drive both overall value and platform intelligence
