Dr Chris Whittle
Is Chief Medical Officer at eConsult. Chris' background was training and working in the NHS as an anaesthetist prior to founding Q doctor, which joined the eConsult family in 2021. Chris has also lectured in Digital Medicine (UCLan School of Medicine) and mentors healthcare startups as part of an NHS England programme.
Dr Benedict Hayhoe
Is Clinical Lecturer in Primary Care at Imperial College London, an NHS GP and appraiser, and Clinical Safety Officer for eConsult.
Dr Aravinth Balachandran
Is a Senior GP Advisor to eConsult, having previously been Chief Medical Officer, and now Clinical Director for Folkestone, Hythe and Rural PCN.
Dr Richard Wrigley
Worked as a GP partner for 22 years. Richard has 20 years teaching experience and was the Assistant Medical Director for Lambeth PCT (2005-07), and continued afterwards as an assessor of GP performance.
Dr Annabel Chew
Annabel is an experienced GP and clinical content writer who works clinically at Cranleigh Medical Practice in Surrey. Annabel works with eConsult to create and maintain clinical content to be run through governance.
Sophie Frearson
Is an experienced ED nurse who began her career at the Leicester Royal Infirmary and was actively involved in the opening of the first 'frailty friendly' and 'paper free' ED in 2017. She moved to London in 2018 and soon became Deputy Sister in the Emergency Department at the Princess Royal University Hospital. Sophie also works as a medical provider at nightclubs and festivals across the UK with Quad Medical Limited.
Montse Fletcher
Has worked in Emergency Care for over 20 years, from bands 5-8a both in large London teaching hospitals and DGH's. She is a qualified emergency nurse practitioner and currently works in a large London teaching hospital as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner following the successful completion of an MSc. Montse also works as a clinical expert witness for TMLEP and as a remote triager for FCMS.
